Maradonna is the best player to play the game. Won Serie A and a WC with not particularly great players around him. Look who Messi has in his team. So no comparison.

Messi has never had to put up with being tackled from behind. Maradona was hacked down every game he played.

He had a pretty good WC, but didn't step up in the final, although funny enough Maradona didn't have a great game in the 86 final.

Probably because they got knocked out PD... he did win the league twice, Coppa Italia, Italian Supercup and the UEFA Cup... all on his own... he never needed the harlem Globetrotters as team mates
